I did too, for 18 months, literally…. thank you, and know that I do not absolve myself of my part in anything, there just appears to be some disparity in what that actually is… it matters not though, for I am the one who needs to understand self… as that saying goes, ‘stop explaining yourself to people who are intent on misunderstanding you.” For an atheist, I feel ‘blessed’ to have folks like you in my life, keeps me in check, while being there, always, when the rubber hits the road.

So true Marcela. Stumbled upon this and it really hit home. My life too and for so many women. Wishing you happiness in your new life and in your journey to re-discovering yourself and having lots of fun on the way 👍🍾 Jo – transitioning to freedom!
It’s been a bit of a roller coaster coming out of that one… a sociopath does a lot of damage… but I am nothing if not resilient, like you, and those other women you speak of… that is not to say I excuse or even forgive him, them… :)
The ‘As is’ series of poems helped me process him right out of my heart and brain…. all my love to you Jo!

PS: And yes, I have since had some fun along the way through, you as well I hope! <3
